Earthing of medium voltage power installations - current state of standardization

Abstract

The paper specifies the requirements for the design and erection of earthing systems in electrical installations with nominal voltage above 1 kV up to 60 kV at 50 Hz. The impact of different neutral grounding systems in MV networks for the design of protective earthing is presented. Recently established two new PN standards have introduced many changes in this area. They are explained in the annex update.
