Problems of selection and installation of residual current devices
Abstract
In the paper a classification and principles of selection and installation of residual current devices are presented. The main factors which influence the proper operation of residual current devices and typical errors performed during their application are described. Requirements for obligatory application of residual current devices are indicated. Back-up protection of residual current devices and their coordination with surge protective devices are analyzed. The examples of residual current devices selection are presented.
