Methods for Determining the Harmonic Sources Localization in a Power System
Abstract
Many practical methods for location harmonic sources are based on determining the direction of active power flow for given harmonics. The authors of this paper indicate the limitations of these methods by comparing their results with the ones obtained from Xuâs method [9, 10]. The latter is widely considered to be the best for evaluation of the supplier and consumer contribution to the total disturbance level in PCC.
