Design and control of energy efficient drives with induction motors fed by voltage source inverters

s. 75-81 DOI:

Abstract

Despite of the dynamic growth of the electronics and a significant reduction in component prices progress in theconstruction of power converters for use in drives is now slow. As a result of R & D the motors are developed for minimizing energy losses and special programs are introduced to subside energy-efficient motors. The paper presents the principles of selection of motors fed by converters for minimizing energy losses.
